The Frame, Samsung’s arty LED LCD TV display, is now available to custom installers. The Frame is a unique proposition when it comes to UHD TVs, offering integrators a high performance UHD panel with obvious interiors appeal.
Quiet apart from the cosmetic options, which include hanging within a art-style frame, it has an Art Mode function that transforms the set into a convincing picture frame complete with artwork. It’s an elegant alternative to automated solutions designed to disguise a TV. Interchangeable custom frame bezels are available in black, walnut, beige and white finishes.
A forerunner to Samsung’s Ambient mode, the Art Mode allows owners to display works from the Samsung Gallery, a 100-strong curated collection, as well as personal photos, uploaded via the SmartView app. A motion sensor is used to turn the screen off when no one is around to view.
Available in 43-, 55- and 65-inch screen sizes, the Frame set also utilises a ‘near invisible’ optical cable that couples with a seperate One Connect Box, which provides input functionality (the Frame still requires a separate power lead).
