Loewe has brought an Art Deco aesthetic to the Bild 9, a design-centric new UHD OLED TV. Designed by Loewe’s London-based creative director Bodo Sperlein, the set channels the classic twenties aesthetic and Bauhaus art school look, by using sculptural geometric shapes and materials.
The set features a solid steel frame, available in either Amber Gold or Graphite Grey. The panel is just 7mm thick. All cabling feeds through the Bild 9 frame, while a fabric cover conceals the connection ports.
Connections include four HDMIs and three USBs, plus Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as standard.
The set also has an integrated DVR with 1TB hard drive.
The set supports both HDR10, HLG broadcast HDR and Dolby Vision. A 120W integrated soundbar appears only when the set is in use. This features a Dolby 5.1 decoder.
The model will be available in wall-mount, table-stand and floor-stand designs.
The Bild 9 will be available in either 55-inch (Bild 9.55) or 65-inch (Bild 9.65) screen sizes, priced at £6990 and £8990 respectively.
Loewe will introduce matching klang 9 speakers in August – a pair of column speakers with integrated subwoofer, which will retail for £4,990.
